i know you wanted input about 18's but i hit 139.4 mic on passenger floor with a Orion 10" h2 with an MA audio 1800 watt amp, i was probably running around 1000 watts to it doing burps with a horrible electrical system. this was in a 99 honda accord sedan

I also ran a 18" cerwin Vega stroker in a sealed box with an Orion 2500d in the same vehicle never got it metered but i would guess aroung mid 140's that **** was loud and had pressure out the ***. i was probably running around 2000 watts to the single sub

I would have to measure mine to say, and it's an SQ system anyway, but it's at least 130db w/ music (pegged the shops RTA). I know that's not super loud but for a single Dls Iridium 10, in a sealed fiberglass box, @ 2ohms getting 250w rms- I think that's pretty decent.
Also, that is in a hatchback, w the sub corner-loaded, so I get some cabin gain dbs there too.

Once again, not 18's, but with my MT10 and a PG Octane R 15.0.1 I hit a 138.2 in an 84 TBird.
That was with one battery. Got two deep cycles, and now all I do is pop fuses on my amp when it's turned all the way up..........But I went ahead and got 2 batts, cause I want a HK4000D....

PG Tantrum 1200.1
~200 actual watts @ 10 ohms (**** impedance rise...)
e12a.22 in 1.5cF @ 27Hz
137.6 in the passenger's side kick
Then again, it's an SQ system. I don't care about improving the SPL score.

right now I'm toying around with a very funky design in my aveo, and running leads over from the grand prix for power..
1 true bass 8" + IA 20.1 @ 5.9 ohm = 149 +/- db in the kick, TL
the box has a footprint of roughly 5 cuft gross..

Arc Audio Flatline 12D2 + Arc 2500-XXK + hatchback Mazda3 = 140db. Not too shabby for a SQ setup.
My buddy Marc was doing close to a 150 with his one Beyond Audio Inhuman 18'' sub.

if you have tons of room for like 6+ cubes and in excess of 2500 watts, the treo ssx 18" would be a monster setup. get out the ear muffs.

151.9 @ 48hz with one alpine type R 12 and an autotek mm4000 @ 1 ohm (.2 louder than a viper 2500d :( )/ passenger kick in the trunk of my monte carlo.
154.5/6 @ 42/44hz in the kick with one type R 15 and an orion 2500d in a wall in the blazer.
Way back in 04 I had a wall in the monte with one planet audio FU 18, 152.5 I believe it pulled off in the passenger kick. The note was up there, sounded horrible.
147.7 with one alpine type S 12 in the trunk of the monte, kick again... score @ 50hz.
