14th of April in the year of our Lord two thousand and six hundred and sixty six, the number of the beast

:)

"Woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the
beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the
beast for it is a human number, its number is Six hundred and
sixty six."

I left alone my mind was blank
I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind

What did I see can I believe that what I saw
that night was real and not just fantasy

Just what I saw in my old dreams were they
reflections of my warped mind staring back at me

'Cos in my dream it's always there the evil face that twists my mind
and brings me to despair

The night was black was no use holding back
'Cos I just had to see was someone watching me
In the mist dark figures move and twist
Was this all for real or some kind of hell
666 the number of the beast
Hell and fire was spawned to be released

Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
As they start to cry hands held to the sky
In the night the fires burning bright
The ritual has begun Satan's work is done
666 the number of the beast
Sacrifice is going on tonight

This can't go on I must inform the law
Can this still be real or just some crazy dream
But I feel drawn towards the evil chanting hordes
They seem to mesmerise me ... can't avoid their eyes
666 the number of the beast
666 the one for you and me

I'm coming back I will return
And I'll possess your body and I'll make you burn
I have the fire I have the force
I have the power to make my evil take it's course

... good music that lasts forever :)

I'd rather take too long and get it right, than try and get it done and screw something up. Go over on DIY Audio. People there will spend 3x as long as me on just regular speakers.

My project is 5 years and running. :crying:

I'll be dead by the time it's done. Maybe my speaker tower will double as the
coffin to save on burial expenses.

With mine, I get to a certain point and decide that it is enough for now, but I always want something else. So, it really is never done.

More good news: I get to start over on the cabinets. I had finished painting them and everything, and i had left them on a towel in the garage so the top could dry. When I went to go install the drivers today, I didn't see them. I didn't realize that they had been moved primarily because my car's been in the shop and I had hidden them so that they wouldn't get hit if the car was pulled back in. Well, I found them laying up against the wall with my towel soaked in coral flakes (my mom has a fish tank) and with rocks all over the finished with scrapes and streaks all over. I swear on my life if my wife did anything like that to me when I am older she would be out of the house in less than ten seconds. A few months' work completely destroyed because someone was too lazy to go buy a towel for themselves and instead used mine, which was also a microfiber towel that I had used on my car (retired). I've had enough.

thylantyr

I judge speakers by the sound, hence very little comments come from me
when people post pics. All I can say is 'cool', cool as in ;

1. Your project is done.
2. You did it.
3. Looks fine.

But with no sound audition, not much can be really said.

On the other hand, if you have pictures of listeners being tortured,
perhaps capture a shot of their expression, we can rate the speaker on
'torture level', score of ten being blood squirting from ears.

/hehehe
/ignore me

Okay, a little bump time. The rear surround channels were completed as scheduled, obviously as this thread is 2 years old, but my mother dropped one of them and duffed a corner. So, I'm building two new ones right now. They will be the guinea pigs for my new painting technique, so stay tuned for pics.
