holy mother of fvck, you don't want me to talk, so i won't.
IBTIL
so far i have found nothing but huge arguements about whether or not they are the best boxes made, coming from people providing no real opinions or information
i was looking more for intelligle posts regarding customers opinions
things like
build quality
sound quality
customer service
turnaround time
box info - etc ...
not some 45638907 page threads about nothing

As far as I know it's a simple ported box. I belive they glass the inside angles and get rid of most standing waves within the box by doing so. Pretty good numbersput up with there boxes.
But IMO a simple ported box that costs $25 to build >than a TCAB for $250...
yeah that was around the price i was quoted
may end up building my own, no matter how ugly
thanks for the info though

Mark's a good guy and knows how to get decently loud w/ inexpensive woofers.
I listened to one of his setups back over the summer. Got loud (louder than I'd ever need or want) and didn't sound entirely like poop doing it. I don't know if those enclosures were classified as "TCAB" enclosures or not though.

yuh mark came to ft wayne for a legit db drag. he pulled a 150 even with a "no wall" box on a 2500d and couldnt check the tuning (his tl was out). sq wise i wouldnt say its great (not bad either) but if volume is needed it does the trick. he gets into arguements on here with people and i would honestly say probaly half at least cant even compete with him (i know some can not saying that) just watch who says what and how. mark is a stand up guy though. he is one of the people here though that makes a good box.

Indiana.
Like Audiolife said....Mark came up to Chris Norris' shop in Ft. Wayne for a DBDrag back in like July or something, and I met up with him there.
saywhat?

TCAB:
Good build quality.
Available in Particle Board, MDF, Oak, and Maple, carpeted or stained. :D
Decent SQ, excellent output.
5 year warranty on the box.
Best when bought and picked up locally, shipping prices are killer
Ok..ill put my 2 cents in. He gets louder than 98% of the people on the fourm with less power and less woofers. :)

shipping shouldnt be too bad if done legit. 35 pounds shipped through DHL is 16 bucks almost cross country.
The shipping is included in the price of the box...im pretty sure anyways.
^ yup
it was 225 shipped for a single 12" box
for a XXX in a '01 taurus SE running a single 2500d
(that was my plan anyway) - thanks for the input guys
