The real question is will that thing fit into your car? 5 feet across is pretty wide...

you have to subtract port volume...you have to divide it into four sections.... = ((15.25 x 3.5 x 14.25) x 2) + ((29 x 3.5 x 14.5) x 2) and divide that all by 1728 to convert it to cubic feet...subtract it from your 6.93ft^3 that you calculated above... and that should give you your true Net Volume.
saywhat?

he made it so difficult lmao. take ur DESIRED size and do the port equation with port area and tuning and ADD THE PORT to that size box, meaning that if u use 1.9 cubes, ADD THE PORT to 1.9 cubes, so it becomes larger

What if the port was a cylinder? (ie round port) do you still add?

it'll fit, im going to take out the back seat of my 97 chevy ex. cab...............
so say for example i take a 3 cube box (w/out port, just a 3 cube box) and say it needs a 10x3x20 port (for example) so i just add the port to the box so it's 3 cubes PLUS the port???is this right?thanks again
