Hey, I just finished up the plans for my box and I am about to go tear up some wood this weekend, but I want to make sure my specifications are correct.

Total Enclosure Volume - 9661.68 in³

Enclosure Dimensions (Includes thickness of 3/4" MDF wood) -
Width - 28.5"
Height - 18.5"
Length - 22.5"

Frequency - 30hz

Vent Quantity - 4 Round Ports.

Vent Length - 15"

Vent Radius - 1.5"

Thanks

Edit:

I am also contemplating a 32hz box instead of a 30hz.

In that case the Vent Length will have to be 13.3"

you need WAY more port area. 28 sq in isnt really enough.

Hmm alright. Like how much are we talking? Should I use 4" PVC instead? And change the Port Lenght?

Id go for 50-65 sq in if you can. 4 4" round ports would be good enough if you have to go round. Youll have to increase the length and box size to make up for the extra displacement though.

Alright thanks. I will go 4 4" ports then.

I would go slot, but I hate the way they look. Round looks so much cleaner to me. Is it possible to have dual slot ports on a single cell box? I am going for symmetry here.

EDIT::

And how much clearance between the port and the back of the box do I need?

yes it is

minimum would be the ports diameter or width, depending on whether its a round or slot port

will he be fine with 2 4" aeros? i mean 2 3" aeros are enough for a single rlp... and this is a 15 cvr, dont move THAT much more air than an rlp.

I am kind of liking that dual slot thing. It is sounding like 200% easier to make. I think I am gonna need like 4x 2 foot ports if I go round.

Flakko would you happen to have the Full T/S parameters List for those 15 CVRs I want to put it into Win ISD

Is it possible to have like an exhaust pipe style round port, where it starts in the box and extends out? I am not sure if I can fit the 4" ports into the box with out changing the recommended volume.

yes round ports can extend outside of the box

Actually I just found a simply solution. I will just have 6 ports. 4 on the front and two on the rear. That way they only have to be ~20"

Does that sound ok to have 6 ports?
