You might like this. The basket and spider on the front side of the woofer.
It's a British made woofer called 'Volt'.

cool looking, but id think twice before using it as a car sub. it looks as though the spokes would break in the middle of the sub where the basket and motor meet. would look mean inverted in a show car .

They are shallow and have low x-max, probably give good upper bass response.
Just like the British to build it backwards...couldn't figure out that the 12VDC positive wasn't supposed to be grounded either :D
Fits their engineering style...
