what is a chain store (home depot, lowes, in cali) that sells fiberfill, or something like that to put in my box?

best bet is either walmart or an art/crafts store
Wal-Mart is where I always get it. It's in the craft section.

Its called poly fill.
You wont find fiber fill at wall mart, only poly fill.
It comes in a 2lb bag.
