Help me choose what speakers to get

OK...I don't know much about component speakers. Im more into bass and spl but Ive been looking into replacing my stock speakers. Im not sure what to get. What do I have to do in order to use a different size speaker other than 6x8?

Vehicle- 05 Expedition
Speaker size- 6x8 (stock)
Subs- two 15" L7s


Don't want to spend a whole lot on speakers. Just want something a louder and better SQ than what I have now. Right now im running the stock speakers off my HU (jensen indash).

If you're willing to either build or buy MDF baffles to take the 6x8's down to a 6.5" round cutout, my Boston FX6's could work excellently for you...
