Great install man but I have no say I'm no fan of the equipment. Nice that they hooked you up though, again amazing box and paint props to the builder for sure

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it, and I agree on the builder props, he kicked *** on this one, and about the equipment, I wouldn't have used it if not for the sponsorship, but, they approached me, and offered a lot, and I was more after show than earth shaking bass...........now I have a question for the guru's, in those, relatively small boxes, can I invert some high powered subs and make them work well, or do I need a complete re-design?

I would rock that setup in my trunk. How does it actualy sound

Whats the volume you have per sub enclosure?

Lamboneon
10-31-2005, 02:50 AM
sounds pretty **** good for the equipment, it surprised the crap out of me and the builder.

As far as the volume, I would have to say that each pair shares about a cube and a half. So 3/4' per sub.

bout time the regular ol' neon gets some respect. my buddy has one like yours, same wing, same eye lids (in your old pics) and the EVOIII bumper i believe and some ofther rear and skirts. ill get pics another day. painted interior, false wall, 2 comp sets, everything JL Audio. 18 inch TRUE THREE PIECE wheels. car is dope. not to mention the srt-4 motor being thrown in soon.

He is sponsord, thats why he has that stuff. If you were offered the same deal I am sure you would take it as well. I think it looks great and I am sure if you heard it, and I heard it. It would impress us both.Just because its cheap doesnt mean its terrible.

wow, that's some serious work and although the gear isn't anything amazing... I would have taken it too man. Smart decision. I wasted so much on audio and I don't even have a killer system... Some ****'s so expensive.

And about putting better subs in there, it can be done... Some subs can probably sound good off that amount of space... you gotta look around and find subs and their recomended enclosure sizes and see if it's close to what you have... That would be a way to help find better gear if you ever upgrade.

To be honest, doing the wing the way you did really set the car off - I like it. I'm considering starting on a Cavalier project - wanan come down to GA and help? :-)

they are deep in the wheel well

to solve, get wider rims and a smaller offset

If you can find a higher end sub that has a sweet looking magnet/basket (or not) that will rock out in a .75cuft enclosure you can do it. Butttt, remember you need to account for displacement(if you dont go inverted). ;) good luck and it looks ******
