Looks like a HT midbass/midrange driver to me. I like it.

.5mm excursion and 3" cone....doubt it's going to be doing too much midbass in typical enclosures.

I like the aura 2"ers better for that application.
The PE site is down for me, but such a low excursion driver seems ideal for backloaded horns :)
Reminds me of the Fostex FE87E, a 3" full range that has decent midbass extension in a horn.

yeah i was readin an article and they look pretty good for a RLFH setup. send 'em 30 wpc and you're gold. unfortunately, i don't know how to design a FH :(
