hey guys care to check my math ? will this do for my 12 '' alpine type e :crazy:
so
1.7 cubic feet
Tuned to 32 hz
Port width 1.75 ''
port length 30''
external dimensions 18'' wide 14'' tall and 21 '' deep

havent checked it on a box building program, but just glancing at it and looking at the numbers, they seem pretty close

according to this http://www.accelerator-pedal.com/ported-box.asp#
18*14*20.25 with a 1.75" port that is 30" long would give you 1.7 @32

The Jl audio website says 2.5 cubic feet for a single W0 ported box so with a TYPE E :eek: that has more power etc does 1.7 cubic feet see like the right size?
looking for 1.5 to 2.2 cubic feet range any input guys?
i got my mdf and sub & saw all sharp so i figure plans are in order:up2somet:
