i dunno i was thinking about this yesterday... and i was feeling bad for the people riding in the back seat... they get a lot of bass, and not all that much music. i was thinking some 4" CDt's or something liek that. maybe only mids? dunno. i want some music in back

well how often do you have someone ride in the back seat of your car?

my riders find it fine w/o rear fill they can still hear words, just feel the bass alot more.... or next time tell them to sit in the front....

lol jk. if you have passengers often then why not. My friend who was sitting in the back of my car says he was coo with my system from the back. so i don't think ima run a rear fill.

I would say No, because you dont wanna mess up your soundstage for others. Especially since you are the one that is always in the car

well why dont he just run a rear fill then just fade to the front when he doesn't have passengers?

I just use the fader control on the HU. My setup sounds terrible in the backseat. All bass, very little anything else.

youre kidding rite? If by better you mean louder, then yea. but if youre trying to get the best soundstage/imaging, no way. i had rear fill before i installed the rainbows. It dint sound all too pretty.

Decware has some wiring diagrams that take care of a lot of the imaging problems while keeping back fill if you're feeling bold.

Rear fill is fine if you don't mind being pointed at and laughed at, and chastized by members of this forum, like you just tripped getting off the short bus. My car was rumored to have rear fill once, and there seem to be speakers back there, but if they do anything worthwile for anyone, it has not been reported to me, or experienced by me. Okay, I'll just say it....rear fill is gay. Unless you have some 28ft long tuna boat/SUV, if you get the front stage right rear fill in pretty much inaudible and unneeded. If you still want it, then I will be the first to point at you and laugh like the a-hole I am.
