the only way i'll be able to fit a ported box for my rl-ps in the trunk of my stratus will be to have the subs face up and the port face the back, or i could slant the subs in like the jl h.o. boxes.

they look like this

basically i want to know if slanting the subs towards each other will cause any kind of cancellation.

thanks for all the help

could you not run them sealed since you have limited space?

I can't view the pics, but as long as they are not directly in front of each other. They should perform fine. Plus they are in the trunk.

as long as you get the cubic feet that you want out of it, it should be fine...the tweeter near my house built one where the 2 subs were facing in towards each other...it was 2 12"w7's, and it wanged....

alright thanks guys you really helped out. i forgot to mention that the reason i need them to be slanted is because the width of my trunk is only 36'' for 2 15's and a port, so id never be able to have enough port area if it was straight across.

just build it deeper, and as long as you can get the right cubic feet you should be fine...

i'll be able to give them their recommended 2.5 - 3.5 cu. ft. net per sub
