Hello, this week i've been looking into a little bit of home audio and decided i wanted to do a project. I want to build 2 towers, crossovers for both of them, and if i could find someone or something to help me design an amplifier i would like to build one of those too. I was thinking of making my towers of 3/4" MDF using a 1" aluminum dome tweeter as seen here http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=297-411
or here
next i was going to use a 5" midrange as seen here
for midbass/bass i wanted to use an 8" driver
I chose all these drivers because they seemed to be reasonably priced, uniformed look/design and they seem to fit my needs.
Next i wanted to do a 3 way passive crossover but for this i'll need someone who can design them and thats all i know about that, i can build it i just need design.
As for the amp, if i cant get help designing or help finding a design for one i reckon i'll go buy one, prolly just a 2 channel that closely matches my power specs for the speakers. Well if you guys could read this over and help me with anything that i presented that would be awesome. Thanks.
