Im looking for a computer speaker system with superb bass output. price doesnt matter. 150 bucks i will spend. Let me know fellaz.
I had an altec lansing 2.1 with a 6.5 inch driver. It was pretty good, but i want louder. any computer systems with like a 100 rms sub?

Alright, but then i would need to get a hom audio reciever and amp.
If i do that i will get 2 RE 8's or one Se 10. Which speakers?
I dont know much bout home audio, so let me know wit amp reciever i should get.

5600 i think is the big setup but the one right below it slams as well.

the ProMedia 2.1 can do 106dB...ok considering the size of the drivers and power (50 for sub/55 for satelites) thats good..they sound good too...
the lil 6.5" sub sounds good and hits hard for its size

That's not that impressive when I can do 106dB peaks in room with less than a fifth of that power :)
$150 for a budget is pretty small...you can't save anything up? The only reason I say this is that I've never been impressed with "computer" audio systems, especially for low bass reproduction.

Lol...we are talking comp systems here...my L1's would molest the Klipsch's if you wanna play that way :p:

yeah we are talking about comp systems, and my sis's tangband setup w/ the tangband 6.5" sub embarrasses anything by klipsch.

hmm, ~20 per driver, 45 for speaker and the 75 watt plate amp, so...130-150~ total.

modeled after these, no danish oil and they aren't made using that kind of ply wood either. still, they look pretty similar. rounded edges, and they are nekkid as well with a pine stain.
