Go to imageshack.us and host the picture, and just post it in the thread, you will get much more help than a single person would be able to give.

i dont feel like doing any calculating, but why have 3 bends in the port when you can simply make it an L and have just one bend?

x2 on moe's comment. at 50" long, there is no need for a stacked port.

wait, is this chambered?

nope

if so, i'd do a "T" port with a divider (hence chamber) so as to minimize any potential cancellation.

if you notice, the port is 7" wide, the box is 16" deep, each port baffle is 11" long. tell me how that adds up lol.

121 inches of port.. i through this box in my probox for windows.. it comes out to be ~65 hz port

correct me if i'm wrong and what i did wrong.. but thats what i get.. all those numbers put together dont come to 35hz or whatever it was built to be.

this design is from the man that brought us this

theres really no telling since it doesnt add up properly, but 65hz is way high, i can tell you that.

The way i looked at it, I got something like 38hz and 6.5 cubes.

What are the squiggly lines mean? I try to use this bass box pro-- it has no squiggly lines? Is that where the air travels or are you of poor quality in creating diagrams on the computer (no offense intended)

1. i use Sketchup and AutoCAD for plans.

2. i made him the plans with the squiggly lines so he can now that was how long the port was, that those 2 walls were the whole port.. somehow he still did it wrong :/

and a bbp6 doesnt calculate port displacement right.

chinny

the squiggly lines were most likely him rushing the plans and not making them neat. If anything he might be bad a creating diagrams using "paint".

Do you even have it, have you used it? Have you compared the brain and pen paper and calculator to it?

While me doing a box in bbp6, i decided to double check and try (port height) x (port width + .75) x (port length) / 1728 in a calculator and bbp6 was a cuft off.

I don't think it is an item you can posses. I think you just use it.

I used it on my first box....worked okay but I think I need to make it bigger. That's no fault of the applet however.

Idk what it is, im no software guru but it doesnt calculate it right, ask mrray from SSA or any one who has used it. Some people say its close and some say its off, i say its off from experience, i have tried the accelerator pedal designs, but ive heard that they are just right.

i'm sure thats why it's 129 bucks+ship

people are always allowed to make programs that dont even work, get them registered and get patents on them, and then sell them on the open market.

Ok, I feel like bringing an old thread up from the dead today.Free plans, even for free they ****.You should be paying him.Pen and paper, you?I wouldn't trust one of your designs with a funky pup. That caculator is not all that off.I'd say it's you that's off ;)

BTW:I've made plenty of free plans for people that didn't look like that.
