What is some good types of box building software so I can get an idea of some good setups for my car. Also, how does one find their car's resonance frequency?

i use winISD

X2 on win ISD

x3 on winisd

And no it doesnt find your resonet frequency, the only way to find that is with test different enclosures in you and seeing what the peak frequency is. I think

Winisd is free, bass box is about $130, leap is about $1500 and is what professionals use.

What makes them better? Accuracy, user friendly? step- by-step instructions?

I believe that bass box is better because it allows for more variables, I didn't pay for my copy (torrent). You cannot download leap because it uses a hardware key otherwise that is what I would use.

EDIT: www.ddl2.com and search for almost any program you want and it is updated daily
(they have a copy)

can your brain output 4 graphs of 4 different enclosure designs so you can see an average curve of spl, port air speed, freq gain in dbs, port length and width calculations for square and round ports, etc etc, in like 5 minutes. ;)

I HATE WinISD. I find it highly inaccurate... Unless I am doing something MAJORLY wrong, it is a shitting program.

If you want to find your resonant frequency, run a sweep using a sub in a sealed enclosure that has a nice flat response. Whatever hz it peaks at in car is the loudest note in the vehicle under that much pressure/vibration/panel flexing

So it has nothing to do with frequency I hit max SPL? When I went to comps, I hit 138.8@ 51htz.
