from what i've read the Type R doesn't perform too well in sealed boxes. Go ported if at all possible.

it works just fine in sealed, but naturally is performs better in ported
i've got two 10" type r's in some .66 ft^3 sealed truck boxes.
hit HARD w/ my rf 500BD.
match up a good amp with them and they can perform great in a sealed enclosure.
but if you have the room, go ported

Internal baffle for what? You will not need to double baffle it for a Type R.
And BTW, a TCAB box is a company name. Starky runs it, and thinks he is God..

Cutting once, Measuring once.
Measure twice! :D
PRE Drill your holes if your screwing, (hummm  ) just cuz you could slip the wood easily...
