What? I don't think so.
What about a Stryke Audio AV12/15?
Or Soundsplinter RL-i/p?
Lots of good choices out there.

are the power requirements the same if you take a car sub and put it in your house. I always heard AC was a lil stronger

were u sayin no type r and no compvr or i don't think so to a 1000 watts
I meant that you don't need a kilowatt for a Type R. That's simply wrong to say you need that much power...
Room gain is less than the gain you get in a car, so you might need more power/subs to get the same kind of output levels you're used to in a vehicle.
But then again, dynamic range is a whole lot more - you don't have to overcome road/wind noise. So you might be able to get away with less power than you're used to.

i wouldnt go with a "dedicated" CA subwoofer. try something more suited for home environments :)
