Anybody know of any newer ones? Ive seen a couple of old alpines but thats really it. I like having the changer right there in the dash. And before you say just use mp3 Im not a big fan of making mp3 discs.

yeahh.. ive seen many alpines with cd changers... you press a button and it releases a magazine whre you can insert 3 cds lol

its number usually started as 3DA or 3DE... its still an alpine so it should have a good clean signal at least

Nakamichi has a few. I love my MB-100. Straight 6, no magazine.

I would suggest against purchasing a indash changer. The idash changers are one of the highest in failure rates. Our factory sees alot of these returned due to the pick up mechanism. As for brand reliability, I believe there are only two or three manufacturers of the cd changers. Most likely, the OEM, eclipse and Nak all have the same cd mechanism. I can't comment on the alpine. The others are extremely noisy as well.

Pioneer made one a while ago, the CDX-PD6. It was an in-dash changer. I loved mine until it stoped working. The shop wanted $500 to fix it, needless to say I ****** it up and installed a conventional one in the back.:(
