what would be a good HU to get if i sell my friend my 860? i was looking at the clarion 855 and 955, prolly 955, maybe a alpine, but i dont like the quality of the new alpines last i heard, maybe a eclipse but what model, i dont want to really downgrade features, i will use my zen micro mp3 player with it, pretty much same stuff i need as on the 860, 3 pre outs, good voltage, etc etc

If the 860 has what you need then why get rid of it?

why get rid of the 860? the only thing that would be worth considering instead would be an eclipse 8454. i used to have an 8600, then got an 8443 (2003 version of the 8454) then missed my 8600 so much i sold the 8443 and bought the 860. only thing i like better about the eclipse was it played sctratched cd's better. other then that i like the 860 better. it just seems easier to use and has better sub controls.

Pioneer > Kenwood

Why dont you just upgrade to a 960? I love my 960 and I wont get rid of it until it dies on me or some crazy new feature comes wout with Pioneer. This is my 3rd Pioneer deck, 2 of them are Premier decks. Three different vehicles

the 860 and 960 are the same, just different displays.

Hey, he said he wanted all of the features of his 860. Also said he didnt want to downgrade.

When asked why he wanted to get rid of his deck, he said because his friend wanted it and he wanted something different.

End result: I suggested the 960

i think the 8053 and 8454 did but i'm not too sure about that. i know the 8443 didn't.
