We are all losing our hearing  Check out the pg xenon comps. I have them being ran off 200 for each speaker, and they are loud as f***. They are keeping up with my 4 12s in the back suprisingly. They come with the adapter kits for 5*7s, 6s, and 6*9s. you also get a full year warranty, which isnt bad, and the price is a steal. good luck

ps the tweeter is detachable, so you can run them as coaxes if you want. They werent anywhere near this cheap when i got my set.

<$120/shipped BNIB for those Xenons is a pretty sweet deal. I don't know anything about that particular eBay seller but it looked to be a decent deal.

you know that if you already have hearing problems, louder isn't going to do you any favors?

That seller is the only one i ever buy from. They always ship things on time, and they give you a tracking number as soon as its shipped out. I have bought almost all my audio equipment from them, and have had no problems. They will warranty the product them selves. No questions asked.

The octane r is just an average comp set. If you arent going to go with the xenons, then get the octane zrs. The octane rs are similar to infinity references, so they are rather bright. I say get the xenons, they are definately worth it, especially for this price. I cant believe how cheap they are now.

throw in some horns if u can fit them. practically unlimited volume. match em up with some high output mids and have all the volume u want.

Are they loud and sound really good? What amp should get with them?

They can indeed get loud. Im running mine with a xenon 200.2. They have a ton of midbass present. Ive been recently comparing these to the id chameleons, and they are very similar in sound. I cant even tell you which one I like better its so close, as im stilll doing some tests on them both, but I will say that the price of the xenons are unbeatable imo. The tweeter is best part about it.

As for can they get loud, yes, and sound extreemly good at doing so. I have a pair in my car, and it keeps up with my 4 12s with 200 on each xenon comp.

If you want all the speakers to be heard would u reccomend a 2 channel or 4 channel amp i might get those for right now then upgrade the back later but i want a good amp so i dont have to upgrade anymore....I want people in the back to listen too!

Get a 4 channel amp then, and just bridge the amp for now since your only going to run fronts, then when you get the rears, you can run it normally.

that would work, as well as a xenon 100.4, mtx 564, ect. their are many options. The pg amp I just listed is rated at peak power, so its about 70*4 @ 4 ohms. Solid amp. Just look around, their are lots of good amps out their for under 250.
