Hi all. I'm in need of another HU. I saw these two on crutchfield, both are $99, and all the reviews say both are awesome.

Personally the Aiwa has me right now, just because it has an aux input and i've been lookin for one, but i need someone(s) to sway my decision, here's the links:

Aiwa: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-sec4PKQUMU4/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=300&I=055CDCX304

Panasonic: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-sec4PKQUMU4/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=300&I=133C1200

Please let me know your opinions, i'm really stuck.

Thanks alot!

Dude, ever heard of a budget?

Well my budget is $100.

Therefore a $99 HU is fine for me.

If you have an opinion on either, i'd like to hear it, cause im stuck, like i said.

But if you dont have an opinion on either, i dont wanna hear aimless crap

well i agree with others, you should save up, but if your dead set on one of those, i would get the panasonic, I had a few buddies that had aiwa's they skip horribly bad when you go over rail road tracks, or when your on a bummpy road, or sometimes the CD will just skip because it wants too, Go for the panasonic.

thanks for the input, i think i've been successfully swayed back to exactly at the middle, lol. The aux input on the aiwa really gets me though...

pioneer makes some killer budget head units.

This is true... Pioneer would be a better choice than both (better skip protection and all).

i have never really had a problem with my DEH-3600, pioneer's entry level head unit. well okay I did but it was more my fault than the unit's

Out of those two, the panasonic.
I had one of their touch screen ghost face things, nice low price deck. Matter of fact, its the deck my wife still has. Got them on ebay for around $150 like a year ago, probably cheaper if you can find them now.
