The new color touch screen Clarion 855 can be used with Clarion interface cable with iPod? or is that just for the 955?

Also, im not sure whats the difference between the 855 and 955? EQ?

Will a 855 with external EQ, outperform the 955?
Thanks!

The 955 has that the 855 doesn't:
music catcher
AC IV processor
Dolby Pro Logic II
3 band para. EQ (955), 2 band para. EQ (855)
high/low pass xover as opposed to the 855s lowpass only &
Spectrum analyzer

Anything else you want to know about clarion?

- Can you please explain me exactly what music catcher is? is it for recording radio programs or music? Where do they safe the file?

- Diference in Dolby I vs. Dolby II? worth the extra $?

- Any difference on the animations, themes, color?

- Is it worth the extra $ for 2 band vs 3 band EQ? or buying an external 7 band EO is better?

- Can you control BASS (subwoofer) from the HU? which model?

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

what model would you get, and why exactly?

nice... so if a friend borrow you a CD for a moment, you put it in, and it records the CD... then you can play it later without the CD?

Music catcher: CD ONLY you cannot record am/fm.
Diff. in Dolby I VS II: ?? not sure
Animation/theme/colors: same for both.
2 VS 3 band: It would be better to spend the $$ on an outboard EQ (IMO)
Bass control: Yes, both models.

So overall, which model will you choose, and why?
855 for me goes for $480, and 955 $630
Tell me if its worth the extra $

Thanks!
