on alpines website, why is the 9835 $100 more than the 9855?

I thought the 9855 was the newer model with better features.

Doesnt make sense, please help.

The 55 is NOT v-drive. The 55 has WEAKER pre-outs in general. The 55 has stupid glide touch. The 55 has a 10% failure rate. The 55 ***** balls.

I love my 9835...I've owned three...sold two of them...and HAD to have one back!

U think they keep those upto date?

when the msrp of the 9835 was posted it just happened to be higher then the msrp of the 9855 when it was posted on the website...

prices mean nuthing in the world of consumer electronics...

The 9835 on Alpine's site went up in price when the 9855 came out ;)
