Before I get **** raped I DID USE THE SEARCH ;)

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has heard these, I just need a few good words and im sold.

These will be my FIRST aftermarket speakers, as im on my first system build.. so I will have nothing to compare too, which is nice since I have no expectations.

What I have now..

SoundSplinter Rl-p 12" d2
Hifonics BX 1000d

So to match the sub stage, my game plan is to get the package deal from eD, and get either a nine.2 or nine.4 (should I leave my options open for possible rear speaker amping?) and some 6000s components.

At most it will be 325 shipped, thats why its nice.. and I will take out 2 birds with 1 stone.

Will it work in my scenario??

why not save some more money and include a nine.1 in ur order...

edit: didnt read that you already have the amp.

Actually, Im ordering the amp today, but it will give me more time to save up, for a few weeks.

the nine.1 would end up being like $300, probly more than you want to spend but atleast u would be getting a lot better product...

thats true, I was going to get the amp ordered today, than go on trip, and I would have to put in another week or two worth of work to get the 330 bucks (plus canadian currency diff.) to get the comps and amp. so if I dont get the amp today I could keep 210 in my pocket, save till the end of summer and drop the 750 or whatever it was on eD package.. its a tough call.

well with the eD package it goes from 735 to $625 usd thats really not to bad... I would be about 40% there and.. overall I Think the 2 matching eD amps beside my Rl-p would look 10x better... I think I may need to rethink this.
It will work out to about 740 bucks canadian.. which will make my system total about 1000.. that was my goal when I Started.

But are these components decent?
and should I spend $25 more for the nine.4 or just get the nine.2?

honestly thats what i would do, that extra 90 bucks is worth it...

but guess what i did a little more research for ya and eD offers an extra 10% of the amps when you order more than one. So there is another ~$50 saved, now your only spending ~$40 more for a much better amp :D

I just installed some 6000s in a friend of mine's car with the nine.4 package deal, so they were getting around 150w rms each... and let me tell you they sound great. The tweets scream but have excellent quality and the midbass is very tight and snappy, not too much midbass output though, vocals are extremely clean. Overall they are a very good set for the money. This was in a Toyota Matrix with the 12" Avalanche/Soundstream PIC 2.880 in the back... :)

ah perfect, thanks for the review. Anyone know when the free shipping ends? I've been searching and all I found is that it was supposed to end in may.. has it been changed to maybe the end of july?
