im pretty sure that i want to go with infinity kappa speakers to match my 463.7 front speakers that sound AWESOME. right now i have a plate made for 4 4's that i have 4 proaudio speakers in it, that sound alright, but 2 of them are blown. so im probably either going with 2 693.7i kappa 6x9s, or 4 42.7i kappa 4's. im kind of leaning towards the 4's sounding better, what do you all think?

If you like the way the 4s sound up front, then do them as well in the rear. Personally I would have went with different mids up front, but we all have different tastes. good luck

well the front ones are 4x6's, so i dont really know how the 4's or 6x9s will sound. granted i didnt hear any other 4x6's other than my old alpines, but i think they sound pretty nice.

What's your goal here? If your goal is just "sound", I'd go for the 6x9's.

i just want it to sound nice for all type of music. picking up a bit of the higher frequencies my subs wont see, i'm cutting the 12's off at 80 hz, so 80-120 i'd like a bit of bass, along with some highs. i'm not looking for anything crazy, but i'd like it to be loud. the 4's wont end up costing me much more than the 6x9's would.

Well if your just looking for something loud, then the infinity 6*9s will get plenty loud, but infinity speakers have no mids, and the tweeter is harsh. Some people like the tweeter though.
