My first post - I hope to start out with as bizarre a post as possible.
I've had a used 859 for over 1.5 years and have loved it. Two days ago, the faceplate display would not turn on. The HU functions beautifully, but no display. In a brilliant move, I reset the unit, thinking I'd surely fix everything - I forgot about the code (which requires the display to enter it, of course) - doh!
It's been so long since I entered the code, I have no recollection of how the display is laid out or what the prompts are. The manual just tells me what buttons do what, but I can't remember what the display looks like. Theoretically I should be able to enter it in blind if I know the steps, but I need someone that owns one or who is familar with excelons to help me out. I'm pissed that the display is shot, but I'd be happy if the unit remained functional. Any ideas about the code entry sequence?
