I found this ebay auction:

Says a bunch of crap which I dont know what to think, but I need some fiberglass for a 10 cubic ft box I'm doing.

"3,750 SQ FT Heavy 24oz Fiberglass Cloth Mat 1 psf!"

its 25 bucks for 1 bundle of fiberglass

"Each bundle weighs about 25 pounds"

Is this a good deal or what? :eyebrow:

239, 941 oh yeah!...lol yeah anyway...

Thanks NjccBflo,

Im gonna go down to the harborfreight store nearby and see what kinda tools I could use...I guess I might as well order the fiberglass, I'll check out some prices around here.

Gonna start the project sometime when I get my 18" speaker which is hopefully soon.

By the way, TPABlazer, what area do you live in? San Carlos, East Fort Myers? Near edison college or somethin? I find it wierd that I'd actually see someone on here that lives in my area.

24 oz. is super thick man. i wouldnt use it. someone on here used really thick matte like that once, and you could see the lines from the strips n such. the fiberglass people usually use on sub enclosures is typically like 4-12 oz.

I'll look around some more then.

yea, you definatly wanna do the first few layers in regular ~10oz per square yard. 32 is biaxial knit glass, and its better suited to put a layer down after you did 3 or 4 with regular glass. just gotta soak the hell out of it for sure.

Okay, thanks! Do I even need the larger (24oz) glass, or could I just get like a few rolls of something like this:
