PRO 4" $143 shipped
CONTOUR 5.25" $136 shipped
Soundline 6.5" $105 shipped

denver

i'd do the contours or the soundlines because of the larger mid..

if you can, get the PRO in 6.5 or the contour in 6.5

yea i do need a certain size, depending on which is the best SQ line i can either go with the 5.25 or the 6.5. but 4" is too small..but i wonder why is it the most expensive you know?

i'd get the 4" Pros and mate it to a mid of your choice for a sweet 3way set;)

It has a slightly better crossover. 12/18db/octave for the Pro vs. 12/12db/octave for Le Contour.. ;)

That's what I'm doing.. It's going be sweet!! :veryhapp:

I'm probably going to pick up a Contour set and squirrel it away.

If I do, I might even try integrating the 5.25" mid with my Pro set. I'm curious as to what it will sound like. :veryhapp:

No offense, the SLC's are a nice set- but at the prices you can get the other higher end lines that may be in stock - i'd snatch up the best you can- it may be the only avenue for some people to own a nice rainbow set (even though outdated) Because let me tell you, current rainbow prices through Alumapro distributorship is CRAZY expensive, even dealer costs are astronomical- leading to actual sales being on the strongside of msrp.

so which would you guys rather have 5.25" contour components or 6.5" sound line components?

I beleive it has been stated that the Soundlines are gone. But like 3.5Max6spd said, get one of the higher lines, since you can. If you get the pro's, then you also have the option of adding a dedicated midbass like I am doing.

On a side note, my Pro's came in yesterday. (Actually, I received two sets through some sort of error, but the second one is going back, because I'm such a god d*mn nice guy :up2somet: )

I ordered both the 6.5" sound line components(60 watt rms/80 watts peak) and the 5.25" Contour components (80 watt rms/ 100 watts peak) but which ones are better?

Sorry, but I can't really comment on that since I've never heard either one :(
