View Full Version : Opions On Infinity Reference Compents?

My friend works at CIRCUIT CITY and told me I can get som 6.5 inch INFINITY REFERENCE COMPENTS for 100 dollars and that includes a 4 year warranty which even includes poping them. They sound decent in the sound room. Im thinking about buying them cause for the price I think they sound great. They would be going in the front doores of a 2005 CHEVY CAVILER COUPE and I would buy matching INFINITY REFERNCE 6#9 for the rear deck and I would be powering them with a ORION 400 watt 4 channel amp. What your opinion on them from those of you that have or have heard them? THANKS for the info.

Better yet, make your friend buy them for you with his discount.

decent speakers - I liked mine when I ran them
but now they are made in Veit Nam,I prefer not to do business with a company that does business with VN for obvious reasons

I would look else where then the infinitys. I used to run the references in my car, and they have absolutely no midbass, and they distort when you try to get any of it out of them. Although they sound clear the tweeter is very harsh. Ide look into another company, although thats a pretty decent deal.
