Ive have like 3 sheets of MDF in the basement know for like 2 months. I still have to cut it. I just got done puttin the air conditioners in so its almost enclosure time if the old lady would hurry up and get home (she's lookin for flowers for the wedding) so she can keep an eye on the kids.

give her a walkie talkie, drop her some benadryl (makes you MAD drowsy) and lock her in a playpen (with a roof)

then get to work

if you had autocad, you could get it all ready before you even layed out the MDF...

are you going to use the aluminum tape idea?

I might, that guy said it works excellent, he also stated he gained 3.7 db by using that tape and right where the port was he also used a pvc pipe and than covered it up with that tape. I dont know what size pvc that was but ill probably try it :D

do it. that tape is like $5

just pull the carpet up, and tape the front of the box all round. ducttape would even work.

then see if you can tuck the carpet down in the crack between the seats or somthing.

looks like it would work QUITE well at sealing off the trunk...

definatly remove the rear deck, add that deadening, and then use that tape over it to seal all the holes, AND go underneath and seal it from the bottom too. then seal the front :)

should improve your SPL :D

I was also thinking when the enclosure was done Im gonna ryno line the exterior just for something to do. Do you know what size pvc pipe they use for that??
