Would it be better to run a solid pair of 6.5's than a pair of 6x9's for rears?

Also is it good to keep your fronts and rears the same, like brand and model?

well from ppl told me from b4...6.5s are better...and it doesnt matter if ur front and rears r the same...as long as most of ur clarity are from the front
