View Full Version : Should I trade my Alpine 9833 for the 9860?

Does anyone think so? I would rather have an all in one unit (DVD/CD/MP3), such as the 9860, but it seems the audio controls are lacking...what do you think?

My other choice is to keep the 9833 and buy a separate dvd player.

save some money and go for the IVA D310.... they can be had for about 1200.

or do like you said and get a seperate DVD player and monitor to go with your 9833, but that could easily run you the price of a indash unit.

I am looking at an indash unit now as well, even though I just got the 9855 (which I will probably be selling soon) and am going with either the D310 or D901 (probably will go with this one do to more features) just gotta sell some equip first.

i would buy a ps2 slim to use as a dvd player. then you will have the added bonus of having video games

man, if its not out of your price range go for an all in one unit, because its just easier, and leaves less room for error.mlooks nicer too and in many cases sounds nicer, but not in all cases....

the d300 and d310 are extremely cheap and effective all in one units...
