anyone got comparison for these two?
CDT EF vs. Rainbow SLC 265
which is better for what kind of music, what kind of power can they each handle, are they about the same quality?
You might try posting your question on this UK forum.
There are members who have extensive experience with Rainbow. The downside is that they probably haven't as much experience with CDT.

watch theres gonna be a large rainbow boner now that scheuy2002 gave the "special deal"
but to answer your question. highs are freakishly detailed, and mids are good even though mine are runnin free air off a baffle lyin on the ground :D

The Rainbow site will show you the line-up:
The ones that are "on special" are the previous version to the ones pictured on the Rainbow site.

Yes, the "special deal" (it's not my deal, it's Jason's deal) is for the older lines of Rainbows. The specs for these comps can be found on Speedsound.com..
If you want the new Rainbows, then contact your local Alumapro dealer. :p:

the slc only take 60 rms....are they underrated or is it that they are very efficent drivers?? cause the id chamleons take 150 rms....i dont get it?? lol

The SLC's take 80 watts RMS, as the rating on their box and woofer state.
I've never heard the CDTs, but I love the SLCs I have. Mid and highs are freakin' detailed, and midbass has some real authority, even without imaging.

CL-61, dls ms6, rainbow slc, and others all head to head. If u ask me they should have put the ef-61 set up against these but those cl's shocked me here lol. The cl's where the cheapest and the believe it or not the infinity set was the highest cost followed by the sony then lanzar.

how much amp do yall run to the slc's?

I loved my CDT EF-61 CFi with the 1" tweets and 560's.
Off of 150 watts they were AWESOME!

Hey, djdilliodon - on the AUTOHIFI website, they list the following Rainbow reviews...
Rainbow Professional CS265P3 (6-7/36-2002)
Rainbow Soundline SW300SLC (6-7/36-2002)
Rainbow Soundline SLC 265.02 (2/36-2002)
Rainbow MPA 6.570 (1/36-2002)
Do you have any pics of these reviews, by chance? :)

i run a jl 300/2 to my rainbow 6.5" pros, and they take it with no prob. and to think the rms rating is only 'bout 80
