Well these speakers seem to be very impressive, and I will probably go with them for my first setup. Will they be ok IB?

:word:

I had mine in those XTC foam baffles.....and they kicked ***.

Also, remember they like their power. You can't throw enough at them....

XTC Foam Baffles? More info?
I have a set of Pro60s I have yet to install.
I am going to dynamat the entire door (inner and outer).
Also I plan to add a few extra layers behind the speaker.
I would be interested in these foam baffles though.

I did some searching around on Sounddomain and found this thread. (http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=4;t=019959#000000)
After reading it, I am a little scared. Should I return my Pro60s and find some 6.5s?!
:(

I don't see any problems with the Pro60's, they sounded just find to me, so I see no reason to trade them in.

Didn't bother to read the thread, but the short answer is no.

As for the baffles: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-RZR8DCVmd9s/cgi-bin/prodgroup.asp?g=762&est=&search=XTC - I had originally just used them to protect the speakers from the elements since they were mounted in my doors.

Yep that's about the only reason to use those baffles, is to protect them from mother nature.
