Pioneer VS. Alpine

i just bought a pair of pioneer ts-a6981r 6x9" speakers for a friend

i hooked one up to my trucks deck to hear how it sounded.

but first i disconnected all my amps and just left one of my alpine type-s 6x9" speakers connected so could compare it to the pioneer

the pioneer can handle just a bit more bass and has louder highs then the alpine

but the mids on the pioneer ****. it sound like their under water.

overall the alpine sounds cleaner.

That "under water" sound tends to be caused by a lack of power.

The speakers could **** though. :p:
