    Alpine amp for jl subs

I need to know if a alpine mrd-m500 amp would be a good amp to power 3 JL 10W0's with rms at 125 each. Thank you very much.

If you run it at 2ohms it 500watts rms so that about 166 each sub. which its over the 125 rms they max at. try for amp thats about 350-375 rms. JL 300.2 would be fine.

don't worry about blowing anything JL, They can take more watts than they say, but don't go overboard

It should be fine to run that alpine amp on those subs. The reason I say this is if you compare the JL 500/1 to the alpine, I believe the JL would be significantly more powerful. Plus as long as your careful you can over power your subs all day long and it will not matter. If you have the gains set right and don't beat them to hell you should be fine.
