thoughts on ma audio amps?

anyone have any experience? are they any good?

been amp shopping, looking for 800-1500 rms @ 2 ohms or .5 ohms

stumbled across a few ma audio on ebay

800 rms @ 2ohm - 135$
1200rms @ 2ohm - 150$

seems pretty cheap, was wondering if thats true wattage or if they are over rated.

please post if you have any experience

HC series = okay
HX series = better
SX series = mmm good
Class X = utterly yummy
Class D = good stuff
Mi series 0 = pretty good
Mi series 6 = pretty good
Mi series 3 = a lil worse than 0/6/9
Mi series 9 = a lil better than 3
Class T = 1400 real watts
HK A/B = good stuff too.

im looking at the hk1000d and m1889i, specifically

they just seemed to be really cheap, made me wonder about there quality

I've never had any problems with my MA gear actually, but yeah most of their equipment is on the cheap side in terms of price. That's why I started using it!

I like MA amps too

they are good amps with voltage. if your only running a 12 volt system, i would look at other options, but on a 16 volt setup, i would look into it further

I'd stay away fom everything but the HK series I've seen a lot of MA's blow up for no reason what so ever.
