Amp Modding

I'm new to the forum and i saw a few threads about modding amps, and i was curious how to do it and is it safe or alright for the amp?

Most common form of modding is taking out the protection circuit. This mod is very unsafe for the amp and I wouldn't advise it be done to an amp used in a daily driver.

Other than that, most other mods would need to be performed by someone with sufficient knowledge to do so. Some manufacturer's will mod amps for you, or they have a company that can perform authorized mods to the amp and still retain the factory warranty. It all depends on what the mod is. But, like I said....removing the protection is the most common, and is not a safe thing to do.
