    ANNOYED with Elemental Designs!!

Got my B-Stock nine.1 amp today and I am LOVING the amp, the only problem is it came in a USED box (a box someone sent into ED, it had their address written in marker in it) and the only thing in the used box WAS THE AMP!! No screws, no remote bass, no NOTHING!! JUST THE AMP!!!!! They told me I was getting a remote bass (which I need, I just hooked it up, I need to be able to control it!!) I understand it is B-Stock but for $35 less, the only thing that should be different is a couple of scratches on the amp (very few by the way) I am goin to call them tomorrow

***** dude, but you don't need the remote woofer cooker. Since when do screws come with an amp? (Unless that is the terminals screws)

You can still controll the amp w/o the remote bass knob...

No, Andy, I'm sure the context is fine.

Umm, lots. My Alpine came with only the amp, and the end plates. No screws, no woofer cooker.

What HU? Does it have adjustable sub output? Did you set the gain as per the tutorial?

No, I LOVE the amp... it looks nice and I am sure it will be fine for years to come but I didnt even get a receipt with the amp (which is needed for the 3 year warranty) So obviously someone forgot SOMETHING...

This may sound VERY dumb but can you interchange remotes between amps? My HiFonics one is still hooked up and it plugs in the same.....dont flame me!

    Re: ANNOYED with Elemental Designs!!

If you bought a B-stock amp, check to see if that was part of the deal. Don't assume anything, and don't blame the company because you forgot to read a line above the "click to order" button - although I'm not saying it's your fault, it's just as well they really didn't forget some things.

My Avionixx 800.2 came with screws from them.

Could.. but the pinout may be different with the RJ-11 connectors, and cause problems.

    Re: ANNOYED with Elemental Designs!!

there seems to be a lot of people satisfied with their new ed.nine.1 amp. I've been considering this amp as well myself.

B stock amp is not refurbished, but there's visible scratches on it as far as my understanding goes. I would figure it would come with everything you would get when bought brand new, cept the scratchless exterior to the amp shell.
