Anyone know where I can find an older Lanzar Optidrive amp? Lookin to go for a .5 ohm load and they can handle just about anything and still stay cool. If anyone knows please fill me in. Thanks

the optidrive amps dont stay cool for long. especaillay at .5 ohms.

The only one I know of that was designed for that kind of abuse was the 50c. I think it was rated at 25x2 @ 4 ohms and 800x1 bridged into .5 ohm. I see them on ebay once in a while, but they came out like 10 years ago. The a/b stuff they have out now (optidrive) will run at 2 ohms mono w/no problem.Originally posted by kottonmouth

There is a guy selling one on the Sounddomain classifieds. I do not know anything about him, so check into him before you send the money. Here is the link... http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubb/For...ML/031819.html

lanzar is a decent brand. if they ******, it would be like pyramid, hyper, and **** like that. so dont go talkin **** you dont know nothing about. my friend has a lanzar 1200d and it is a good amp.
It's all bout respect!

Even their lowest priced stuff is pretty good, especially when you factor in the cost. The early editions of the 1200d had some issues, but other than that I don't know what there is to complain about. If you want to rip on a company at least tell us why.Originally posted by LBX2G

Funny comment. You probably wouldn't make it if you had any idea what the Opti line was.Originally posted by LBX2G
