    viper d2500.1 and 1/0 wire?

i recently bought the knukoncepts 1/0 wire kit for my viper d2500.1. now i know with this much power im gonna need this kind of wire. well i look at the size of the terminals for the wire and i really dont think the 1/0 gauge wire will fit. is there anyone runnin a d2500.1 with 1/0 gauge wire, and if so how did you make it work? i got an idea but i dont know if its good. my idea is, strip the protective rubber to expose however much wire i need. then since the wire is setup like maybe 16 or 18 gauge wires and THEN they are wound together to make the 1/0 gauge wire, i would cut off a strand or two of the smaller and insert that into the terminal. then maybe a inch later the wire combines and its now 1/0 gauge wire again. will that work? not sure if you guys will understand me

Ill probably sound like an *** syaing this but, why do you have such an amp if you dont know how to even hook it up?

The 2500.1 has two connections for + and grnd, what you do is run 0awg to a distro block then (2) 4awg strands for power. Do the same for the ground, make it 0awg then split it at a distro block into (2) 4awg strands, then hook it up like so. Theoretically you SHOULD get a fused distro block since your going from 0-4awg, but if you do it right, the stretch of 4awg shouldnt be long enough to call for a fuse.

i know how to hook up an amp. im not a complete douche man. its just that i never dealt with an amp of this size, and i never dealt with distrobution blocks. and why do i have that kinda amp? prolly because i need that much power... anyways, last amp i had before this was a bx1500d which was a piece of cake. thanks for shootin me down

its all good man. anyways, i got it figured out. i figured there was a reason that the viper had 2 power terminals and 2 ground terminals, so i guess i sorta asked for it lol. anyways im gonna be installing my amp tommaro most likely and building my box today. but hey i wouldnt mind a pic just to make sure i got it right. one more thing, is there any specific kind of distrobution block i want? or do i just pick 2 distrodution blocks that have a 1/0 input and 2 4 gauge outputs?
