1/3 of TEAM PWNAGE
Well, I opened up one of my tsunami db1100ds to find that 4 mosfets were blown. Is there a way to test if the others are good with a multimeter? The mosfets say on them:
IRF Z44
I(weirdsymbol)R 139E
24 10
Where can I find replacements for these?
Steve recommended www.digikey.com but im having a tough time finding what I need. Also, what do the numbers on the mosfet mean?

The problem isnt replacing them, its just finding the correct ones lol.

There are plenty of places to find MOSFETS. They're used in **** near anything nowdays. The trouble will be finding out why they blew. Obviously they stayed open too long, too much current. But why? Was it the positive rail or negative rail? Did you check ALL the fets? Many won't show signs of being blown until exposed entirely. If you replace them and they blow again, you'll need a schematic, a test bench, and some time. More trouble than it's worth? Possibly. But it could be as simple as plug and play with the new fets.
Is this not a reasonable place to park?

Not sure really... if I cant get it working w/ just plug and play then I will pay to have it fixed, or sell it as a busted amp for cheap.

General rule of thumb, when you replace 1, you replace them all!
Some DMM's have a tester for them on them. It looks like 3 holes alined up. Each one is for the base, emmiter, and the collector.
Pretty easy to replace actually.

the 4 that are cracked have different numbers than the rest, my DMM doesnt have one, ill see if my dads got a DMM with one.. hes got like 3 of them lol.
