    jbl amps

I was looking into getting a jbl power series amp, but I have a few questions. Is the power rating on these amps continuous or max.

    Example: 300.1 - 150 X 1 in 4 ohms
    300 X 1 in 2 ohms

I can't find anywhere that is states if it is continuous or max.

the 300.1 is rated at 300 rms at 2 ohms wich would be continuous power. they are rated at 2 ohms to whatever amp they are 1200.1 = 1200 rms at 2 ohms. as far as the peak power of these amps i really dont know. they are a good amp for the price. my friend has a 1200.1 runnin 2 punch hx2s and it sounds good and hits hard.
