    The right amp for me...

I have about $200 total (including shipping) for a new amp. This amp will be powering two (2) RE 8' subs in a fiberglassed sealed box. The amp will be part of the display, so the amp needs to be somewhat of an attractive amp. What do you have in mind?

It will be the new RE 8's which are 4 ohm DVC's. The rms rating is 175 watts. Also, how do I figure what wattage my subs are going to be getting if I run them in parallel? Like if I were running 350 watts to two subs, how many watts per sub is that and how do figure that?

Re: The right amp for me...

well your amp would have to be 1ohm stable to run 2-4ohm dvc parallel, then take your 350wrms@1ohm divided by 2=175wrms
