    Wow Orion Nice job.

almost 3.3k clean for 330 dollars new. I dont think most of the soundqubed, dd, ampere 2ks can hang with this price to performance ratio wise.

I was looking at these the other day. And was searching for a dyno video and I seen this earlier. I was impressed. Reminds me of the old Orion days.

Holy hell thats inefficient. Cant deny its making power, but 57% efficiency?

id bet its much closer to 70% at rated power. its designed to work well with the higher impedance loads. IE your not seeing a true 1ohm load closer to 1.5 to 4..

    Re: Wow Orion Nice job.

it looks as such. 1ohm really wasnt all that much more power than 2. 4ohm looked good as well, if you wired at 1 and rose to 3-4ohm, would still be getting good power. But this thing definately wants some amperage. (If its roughly a 3k, should be ran with HO alt anyway)

    Re: Wow Orion Nice job.

Its not efficent but it puts down more power at 2ohm than
    Most 5kws.

    Re: Wow Orion Nice job.

if we are talking about efficiency look at hifonics. Horrible efficiency and still doesnt do anywhere close to rated. I'd say this is a pretty solid 3k. CSCstang's xtr 2200.1 doesnt really draw that much current and doesnt get even close to warm.

    Re: Wow Orion Nice job.

I've seen a few story's about the HCCA amps breaking but with this much power it makes me wonder if it's all user error.
With that kind off efficiency they are definitely cheap parts amps.

    Re: Wow Orion Nice job.

At the price it might be a cheaper option for people looking for 2ohm amps in this power range.Previously it was either Brazillian or Kicker 2500s. Or just having to buy a much bigger korean
