    What amplifier for CDT Components?

I'm looking for a good SQ amplifier for my CDT CL-61A's. These comps. need at least 90 rms.I was looking in the price range of 150-250. Here are some ideas I have, any other opinions would be great.

    2 ch:

    US acoustics usx-2150 150x2 for 164.99

    PG T500 125x2 for 229.95

    Avionixx 440.4 220x2 for 199.99

    Soundstream 500-2 Rubicon 100x2 for 164.99

    Soundstream Ega 2220 110x2 for 159.00

    4 ch:

    Pg T400 refurbished 50x4 for 169.95

    Pg T600.4 refurbished 75x4 for 199.95

ps. Is there any drawbacks to running a a bridge 4 channel amp for components?

    Thanks in advance,

    Neal

Re: What amplifier for CDT Components?

    i would get the PG T500 125x2.

And dont worry too much about amplifiers, get something that is reliable, erfficient, puts out the power u need, has a good crossover, and looks good. There is no "SQ amplifier"

    capone,

Ever had any problems with that Profile amp? Is it a good amp? Looking at your car and the quality of the rest of your system, I would assume that the Profile must be good. Doesn't look you are the type to run unreliable equipment.

no problems been perfect since day one. profile isnt the greatest, but at the time i ddint have much money to spend and a crystal component set off a profile amp was the best i could get for the money.

Can't necessarily speak for the CL series, but my Eurosports absolutly sing with much less power than that. Probably on the order of only 30-40 watts, likely less. Just about any amp will do well.

I currently have one 225HCCA Orion running the front stage. Gain is set to the lower stop.
