My son bought himself a new amp, Belva BB3000D

So my RF Punch 800a2 amp died, and I was searching for a suitable replacement, and I guess I was taking too long. My son up and used a gift card from Christmas and bought himself a Belva BB3000D amplifier from Sonic electronix. It will be hooked up to a Alpine 10" Type R DVC 4ohm wired as a 2 ohm load. Will I have any issues with this amp? Anyone know anything about these Belva amps?

My short lil references from who i bought from.. Tallc, BassAddictJ, lilkman2202, IamMurph, CJ8501, bumpincrv, and mrteacha

2008 F250 powerstroke. too much performance done, stock stereo.
2013 Honda Civic, 100% stock inside and out (wifes brand new car)
2000 Honda Prelude. Son's first car, Sony POS HU, RF Punch 800a2, Alpine type R 10" in vented box tuned to 26hz.

And brand that isn't CEA compliant is a hit or miss. Some people have perfect luck and they last for years, while others have issues like the video posted. Personally, I would try to return it and get a more reliable brand that actually does proven numbers. But who knows.

Be easy on the gain settings. These amps have not been proven to do rated.

    They're rated 1260 @ 2ohms. I would be careful and tune to 800watts instead.

I'd rather buy a used alpine or RF amp than one of those.

Well I guess I shall see how it goes. I will let him try it, and if it works.. it works, if not, I will buy him a better one.

    i buy broken amps....
No, i will not "gift" paypal. please do not even make it awkward by asking. if the fees are an issue, I am usually inclined to add them. unless you have discount elsewhere, shipping is through usps flat rate, through usps parcel post, or through the roof..... i am in alaska. thanks

They are junk just like AudioPipe amps. They dont do rated power and the components they are made with are just pure junk.
