    PG 1200.1 & HO alternator

Can ne one tell me if 170a alternator would be sufficient to run a pg tantrum 1200.1 that draws 155 amps? I just ordered it for my explorer and i was told a 150 amp would be fine but i went ahead and upgraded a little just to be sure.

    Thanx Basketball

That PG wont be drawing 155 amps all the time. Thats just the max current draw that it could conceivably produce.

How big is your factory alternator?? If you want a High Output alternator do a search in the wiring option section.

I got mine from Rob V.O. you can e-mail him at vvanoverdyk@shaw.ca.

    Also,
www.mralternator.com, Mean Green is another alternator place.

There are a lot of others.
